1. Scope of These Terms
These Terms apply to use of the Site and website-based communications. They do not replace a written estimate, work order, service agreement, invoice, warranty document, or other agreement governing plumbing services. If a separate written service document conflicts with these Terms regarding a specific job, the service document controls for that job.
2. Website Information
The Site provides general information about Specialty Plumbing, plumbing services, service areas, and common plumbing conditions. Website content is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute a diagnosis, inspection, professional opinion, binding estimate, or guarantee that a particular service or repair method is appropriate for a specific property.
Plumbing conditions vary. An on-site inspection or additional information may be required before we can confirm the cause of a problem, available service options, timing, scope, or price.
3. Service Requests and Appointments
Submitting a form, sending an email or text message, leaving a voicemail, or otherwise contacting us through the Site:
- Is a request for contact or service only
- Does not create a service contract
- Does not confirm an appointment
- Does not guarantee availability, response time, pricing, or completion time
An appointment or service engagement is confirmed only when accepted by Specialty Plumbing. Any estimate is subject to the conditions identified during inspection and the terms stated in the applicable written estimate, work order, or service agreement.
4. Emergencies and Safety
Do not rely on a website form, email, or text message for an immediate emergency response.
For an urgent plumbing issue, call 770-597-4141. If there is an immediate threat to life, fire, electrical danger, suspected gas leak, or another hazardous condition, leave the affected area when appropriate and contact 911, the applicable utility provider, or other emergency personnel.
Do not enter standing water near electrical equipment, attempt repairs involving gas, or undertake work beyond your training and ability.
5. Communications
By providing contact information, you authorize us to contact you regarding your inquiry, requested appointment, estimate, service, billing matter, or customer-support request through the communication methods you provide.
Promotional communications will be sent only as permitted by applicable law and consistent with any required consent. Consent to receive marketing calls or text messages is not a condition of purchasing services.
For text messages:
- Message frequency may vary.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out.
- Reply HELP for assistance.
Mobile information and text-message consent will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. Acceptable Use
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, servers, accounts, or systems
- Interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the Site
- Introduce malware, harmful code, automated attacks, or disruptive technologies
- Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or extract Site content without permission
- Submit false, misleading, unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent information
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority to act for a property or organization
- Use Site content in a manner that infringes intellectual-property or other legal rights
We may restrict or block access when reasonably necessary to protect the Site, users, or our business.
7. Information and Materials You Submit
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for having authority to request service at the identified property.
Information, photographs, or other materials submitted through the Site may be used to review and respond to your request, coordinate service, maintain records, and operate our business. Do not submit confidential, unlawful, infringing, or unnecessarily sensitive material.
Submitting a photograph or description does not replace an on-site inspection and does not guarantee that the condition can be fully evaluated remotely.
8. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, including text, logos, graphics, photographs, videos, design elements, and software, are owned by Specialty Plumbing or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view and print reasonable portions of the Site for personal, noncommercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, license, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit Site content without prior written permission.
Third-party names, trademarks, and content remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to third-party websites or services, such as maps, review platforms, social-media pages, manufacturers, or informational resources. Third-party services are controlled by their respective operators. We are not responsible for their availability, content, security, terms, privacy practices, or actions.
Use of a third-party website is at your discretion and subject to that third party's terms.
10. Site Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, current, or error-free.
Service descriptions, service areas, availability, and other Site content may change. Current details should be confirmed directly with Specialty Plumbing.
11. Disclaimer of Website Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim warranties regarding the Site, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
This disclaimer applies to the Site and website content. It does not replace or alter any written warranty or obligation expressly included in a separate service agreement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Specialty Plumbing and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Site or its content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These Terms do not alter rights or remedies expressly provided in a separate written service agreement or required by applicable law.
13. Privacy
Our collection and use of information through the Site are described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have reviewed that Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating solely to the Site or these Terms will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction, subject to applicable law and any controlling written agreement between the parties.
15. Severability and No Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce that provision later.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Changes apply prospectively from the date posted unless otherwise required by law.
